POMEROL WINE |
|
How to keep your wine |
After transportation, the wine needs to rest.
To avoid having the cork dry up, the bottles need to rest on
their side.
The ideal temperature while in storage is a constant 58 degrees
Fahrenheit.
At this temperature the wine will mature slowly. Also avoid
sharp lighting.
Remember! The wine is a living product; please take good care
of it, the return will be when you will serve it. |
|
How to serve |
You should drink the Pomerol at temperatures
between 61 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
For a young bottle, less than 5 years, we recommend opening
it, 2 to 3 hours before serving it.
As the wine makes air contact, it will develop and release its
bouquet.
Opening time should increase with the age of the wine.

We recommend this great wine with red meat,
game and poultries.
Enjoy !

1999 - Château Rosam :
This wine is at maturity, with a taste of red and black
fruits, enhanced with a light spicy flavour.
2000 - Château Rosam :
This wine still needs time to mature and will best be enjoyed
if one waits until 2006 before opening it. One will find
it to be fleshy, concentrated and dressed in a deep dark
red colour.
In summary, look forward to a wonderful flavour.
2001 - Château Grand Moulinet :
We recommend not to open before the end of 2005. Well balanced,
smooth with a nice fruity and woody aroma.
2002 - Château Grand Moulinet :
A supple wine with an already marked bouquet.
Its fruity taste will remind one of red fruit and liquorice.
2003 - Château Grand Moulinet :
Best enjoyed as from end of 2006. This well balanced wine
is of dark garbet colour with a tast of black fruit preserves.
